Hey all, I just put on some 9 paddle extreme haulers 20X10X10 on 8" wide wheels my stock 450 now hooks up great maybe a little to well outta the hole it bogs just a bit I am thinking dropping a tooth on the front. Which sprockets are good better or best I see prices from $15-$45 any recommendations. My buddy has a YZF and we are very equal (experience, weight, and running stock for stock) our races were very close I think we split most of the drags up the bowl we were racing I think if I can get this launch a bit quicker I will take him consistently. So help me out to beat my buddy.

The cheapest way would just get the same sprocket that are put on the CRF dirtbikes....I'm pretty sure they are 13 tooth. Also, if you are looking into getting a pipe soon, there are tons out there that will help with your low end bog.

About the paddles....do you like the 10 paddles or do you wish you would have gotten 9? I just got 8 paddle haulers just haven't had a chance to use them.

I meant do you like the 9 paddle or do you wish you would have gotten 10, I guess you'll know the answer after you take care of that low end bog.

I got the nine paddles from a guy used he went with a 22" tire they were a smokin deal so I couldn't pass them up. They maybe a bit much for the bike. I have talked to people that have 8 and even 7 on these new big 4 strokes. The paddles hook up great I just don't have enough wheel speed at the low end to slide or roost my buddies when they get stuck. I am going to try going down the tooth before my next ride and see if it helps.

I have 21 X 12 X 8 Extreme Haulers 8 paddle running 6 1/2 pounds of air. I also have 13 tooth front CRF sprocket along with HRC kit and full Sparks exhaust and no air box lid and 190 main. It takes awhile coming out of first, but better than shifting to second after 10 feet. Works well.

No one else with paddles yet? I was thinking 7 paddle haulers, size, I don't know yet. I guess I will wait and see if there are more replies.

I have 20-10-8 8 paddle haulers. Works great. Only reason I went with the smaller diameter wheel (& more rubber) was to protect the wheels. I ride at Sand Mountain and the camping area is full of rocks that will dent your 10" rims real easy....

Im using the 8 inch rim with 21 inch 8 paddle haulers. More tire less rim = traction for dragging and hills. 8 paddle regualer haulers are perfect. Plenty of grab and not to much paddle that kills top speed. They dont slide much though.

i have 20-10-10 8 paddle extreme haulers for sale if any body is intrested. used 1 time. brand new. perfect combo for 450r. 9-10 paddles will make the 450 bog even with 13 t but not bad though. the 8 paddles are perfect with the 13t i think just enough wheel speed and traction to go together. any ?'s email me at vnasty700@yahoo.com
