these past few day me 400ex has been blowing fuses and i don't know why. i checked all the wiring to see if anything was grounding out or any wire exposed and couldn't find a thing
everything was good and nothing was wrong so is there somethen else to check

check for cracks in your wires & tighten down your cables above the battey...mine were blowing b/c there was large crack in the positive wire where to clamps into the metal hook that goes ontop of the battery...give it a good look over with a battery tester or something

mine was blowing fuses before when i turned on the headlights because a peice of the metal light housing had broken off and was causing a short.

if your not sure if its the lights or not, just try running with the lights off and see if you blow any fuses.

Happened to me just disconnect your headlights and it will run fine.

i had the same problem, would blow fuses anytime my lights went on, finnally just got rid of them, dont ride at night anyhow

My 400 did the same thing when i turned my head lights on. After awhile i found out it was water in the wire clip. Its up front in bettween the front shocks on the frame, Its green. Un hook it and see if any water comes out. Allow time to dry if their is water in their. This fixed the problem for me good luck.
