Won't swear to it, but I believe I overheard them arguing about him not being there in time for registration, since they didnt run a qualifier.

but Gust was there....

i went this weekend, got about 1 lap in on saturday an hit the step up. i didnt land right, flipped my bike and ended up with a dislocated shoulder. doc says im out for 5-6 weeks. (im gonna try to be back in by daniel boone)

yah luburgh was going to register on saturday but they gave him hell and wouldnt let him. doesnt make much sense seeing as how he doesnt even have to qualify. hopefully everthing works out for him.

The triple was all f'ed up this year! It would throw you all crooked in the air, it was not a good jump... Plus it didn't throw you as high as it did last year. It was faster to double it this year...

Anyone see my wreck in practice? I came up short on the double double and man it was NASTY! If exman see's this post he can explain it, he saw it...lol

I was doubling the tripple and i overshot it once by about 10 feet:o that hurt too, lol

Track prep was horrible, they were watering the blue groove and made it slick all over the place...

injury report for me: Back is all scratched up, arms too, exhaust burns, lumps on head, cracked helmet, knee hurts VERY bad, elbow hurts, maybe a broken finger?, bruises on chest...but i got right back on and kept riding, lol

Luberg was hittin the tripple in practice, Haavisto hit it once and so did Plante (he did a nose dive and the landing looked like it HURT)

awfull! In practice I f'd up my knee but the EMT's said i would be fine.

First Moto--Tangle in the first turn, so i was last getting out of the holeshot, tangle again on the second lap, fell back to last again.. I worked my way up to a 10th that moto:mad:

Second Moto-Tangle in first turn, last getting out of the holehot again..worked my way up to 6th or 7th...so i finished with an 8th overall....for my first nationall i guess it was ok but i am not pleased with it....I got a nice trophy though...

I will be at Kentucky and Loretta's too...then next year i will be at all of them except Cali., hoping to finish in the top 5 points

i'd like to enter a national..but the damn 330 kit is holding me back, im not even gonna try to get by with it..i could probably get in seeeeeerious chit. lol. im looking to maybe buy another cylinder with .020 bore and get a wiseco 12.5:1 for it to race nationals and use the 330 cylinder for local races? what yall think? lol

if you got the money go for it!

I was told that if you are over the CC limit in the Youth Production class then they can tell by the sound of your exhaust? If you get tore down then you will be banned from all AMA, ATVA events for a year and/or be fined...

Unless you are too young, you can enter the 330 in the open class. You will be riding against other machines that do no fit into the 265cc (2 stroke) and 450 (4 stroke) limit. Sometimes, these classes are great to enter because they do not have as many entries and rarely have to run qualifiers. You would only have to run moto 1 & 2, not have to go thru qualifiers to make the main. If you are too young, get yourself a cylinder and go! Whether you win your class or don't even make the main, te Nationals are an awesome experiance.

If this was any other sport where the Pro's get scrutinized, it would have been everybodies business already. Maybe it's a good thing we aren't that big yet, huh?

yeah, that's true because when i got the 330 kit on, it was alot louder and sounded ALOT meaner, hard to explain, but im trying to decide wether i want to spend my money on a stock cylinder and a wiseco..i'd much rather buy a stabilizer and raptor rear shock, but i want to be able to race atleast 1 national next year..but is it worth it for one race?

roostin_dale

I wouldn't go through all that trouble for just one national...

whoops. i had a 355ex big bore/stroker. they wouldn't let me run C so i ran production youth 12-15. my 300 sounded better than most 400's, it had everthing in the engine...big gun pipe sounded like it was a 450. it was ok cause there was a 290 long stroke blaster there, but he blew me away cause it was my first race...thinking about the trinity 510 big bore for next year on the 450.
