The colorados replaced the jimmy/s-10

I would wait at least a year or two before purchasing anything with that I5 engine. I read that they have a lot of extra crap on them to combat the increased vibration b/c of the odd# of cyl.

I just went a looked at one, they have more leg room them my moms dodge ram 1500, Im gonna go test drive one wednesday, not the one im gonna buy, the one im gonna buy is gonna be red and be bottom line, the only thing that will keep me from getting one is if my mom wont let me put it on her insurance policy.

I just test drove one tonight with the I4 engine quad cab and 4x4. With all that weight the 4 cyl. wasn't bad at all. I'm told the I5 is about the same power as the older 4.3 vortec. I thought it was ten times better than any s-10 I've been in. The quality is far better than GM's in recent years and the ride was awesome. I'm buying one as soon as they can locate one like I want. I'm getting the 2WD I4 regular cab w/5 speed. I'll let everyone know what I think in a week or so.

One more. I'm so pumped. This is my first brand new vehicle. Much better than the old S-10 Blazer I had.

Thanks. I wasn't sure about the 4 cyl. either until I drove it. It's a 5 speed so it isn't too bad. Much better than the old 4 cyl. s-10.
I think the cash price was $16,900 but I didn't pay that much since my wife gets a supplier discount through her employer.

There's my colorado, got it about a month ago. I love it so far. It's a ZQ8 "Sport" extended cab, it's got the inline 5 with a 5 speed manual, and soon to have a bad *** system.

yea man, I love it. Hey I don't know if you know about it or not, but there's a cool site for us colorado owners called www.coloradofans.com. I found that site when I was doing some initial research on colorados, and it's become my new home.
