stupid maintance question...........

i know this should be posted in maintance but no one seems to be in the room!
so really quick can i oil my air filter with motor oil or do i need the foam filter oil? i just cleaned it for the first time and im gonna go
riding tomorrow and every buddy is closed now and not open tomorrow so am i SOL!!
