Is the inside of the philips screw head just walloed out?? If so just take a dremel, or a file, or something & cut a notch in the head to fit a flathead screwdriver.

Anybody; I repeat, anybody that works on motorcycles or quads needs an impact driver. Things like this will very seldom happen then. :) If the screw isn't too bad yet, a hand impact might still be able to break it loose and get it out of there.

^^^ Ok yeah an impact driver to loosen the small carb screws.
Are you high??

He said its stripped......It could be that the threads on either the screw itself, or the interior threads are gone (stripped).

Or, probably, the head of the screw itself is stripped (can't get the screwdriver to grab the head).

Which is it??
