Hey everyone,
I just heard some inside info from a reliable source :devil: Well, they're chaniging motor location, steering stem location, swingarm length, possibly frame geometry...its gonna be a whole different animal....In 2006...this thing will be THE KING of the hill

What will those of us that have one now do? Will there be an upgrade path to the new updates?

anyways, im getting mine tomorrow, im sooo excited I cant stand it!

no they won't offer updates.....i dun think

thats how it was like with the 250R.. for the first 2 years they had it one way.....then after that they started changing chassis design /motor mounts etc


o well.....i'll be getting a 2004 450R next week.....i could care less if they change it . i'll just fix it with aftermarket parts:devil:

mine rides so good. i would dare them to try to make it ride better than mine now. i have long travel/elkas up front and a +1 swingarm in the rear with an elka shock on it. it corners good and lands the big jumps really good. i have not done much adjusting to it yet either. i just bolted them on and started to ride.

I really don't belive this. Not that I don't want it to happen. Its just that its too far off to know anything like that.

I hate to say it but thats just the way it is my friend and I can see were your coming from because I want a new 450r so bad but im not going to wate untill 2006 I will wate untill 2005 though. With Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and who know in the future all having factory riders there not going to sit back and let there competition run away with the sport. I don't think we will see a change untill 2006 but we will half to see. Remember on the TRX250r they made changes every single year.:cool:

i'm prety impresed with mine. first two races and two 2nds with only tires,bars and a slip on. i can't imagine if i could update the susp.:D
