Yo everybody,
i wanna take off my key switch and have the fan still work....how do i do this?? Do i just cut the key piece end off and then connect the red and green wires??? or do i pull the plug out from that plastic connector and then do something else...?

well I did it myself and this is how I did it. I just took the key switch and cut the wires right below it. Then I took a scotch connector and connected the red and green wires. Then i duct taped all the wires together and covered the ends and then taped them to my frame. This works great and so does the fan :) Well my next thing i'm gonna do is remove the black thing with the hot start and the on off switch on it..

Scotch lock connectors suck and would not risk my motor overheating.

You better do it right and solder them or use a heatshrink connector.Scotch locks cant keep water out and eventually from washing you can get corroded and broken wires. IMO

Lights controls are easy to remove just unplug them but need a hot start lever

any of you guys ever try to see if the dubach racing hot start lever fits on the quad? its for a CRF450 bike, but maybe it would be the same thing. it mounts to the master cyl' bracket near the throttle and you push it like its a thumb throttle.
