chain quality question

I bought a rk520 gold series chain for my rm last year. It is junk already and I haven't riddin much. I have to adjust it almost every time I ride, I used a (new) stock suzuki front sprocket and a (new) vortex rear. Prior to this I had an o-ring chain (don't know the brand name) and renthal sprokets, It seemed pretty strong and I had very little maintenance.
I have to buy a chain and sprockets for my tecate4 and I want a good quality chain and sprocket thats not going to dissapiont me,

The best quality chain I have found is the DID X-ring chain. Im running one now and it has exceeded my expectations. It is supposed to be one of, if not THE strongest chain on the market. The Regina O-rings are good too.... When you change the chain, try to change the sprockets if they look like they are wearing too. Worn sprockets on a new chain will cause the chain to wear pre-maturely...

i have been told the one to get is the did x-ring also by a few racers

i've been running a renthal since the winter time and it has held up decently,i've prolly have to adjust it after every 3-4 rides,but i just ordered a DID xring chain,and from this post i can't wait to try it out now

The DID X-Ring is a goodin'. The key with a good chain is good sprokets like renthal and keepin it adjusted though.:rolleyes:

I have a Sidewinder non o-ring. Been in use for 2 yrs and I really like it.

stick with the oring...the xring could possibly trap dirt inside the chain in the X's rings grooves.....xring is waste of money IMO b/c orings are just as good & everybody pretty much buys an xring just because it sounds cool...

I run Sunstar sprockets and DID X-ring chains, the X-rings seal better than standard o-rings. You have 2 sealing lips on the x-rings vs. 1 on a standard o-ring.....
