What do you guys think is the best axle for a 400ex? What will hold up to everything thrown at it and won't bend or break?

not durablue. i presoanly think that RPM makes the strongest axle and i wish i could afford one. i know alot of pro freestylers use them and hold up good.

yea I've heard durablue sux too. What do you think about Axcalibar? It's the axle that Lonestar racing sells.

I haven't tried Durablue but do have a LS Axcaliber. There have been reports of the sprocket hub developing rotational play, I think that's the right way to say it. Mine has it after one year of limited use.:(

hmmm so it sounds like that's not one to go with either. I think that the first one said sounds like a good one. Does anyone else know any good ones?

Plenty of people have durablue around here and they are great. They hold up to a lot, and don't bend or break. Mine will be here tomorrow:p

RPM is the best.

LS and Team Industries would be next

Then durablow.

The thing to look at is warranties on axles. RPM, LS and Team have a true lifetime warranty. Durablow will charge you around $40 to fix it the first time and then $175 every time after that.

The others replace axles for free like they say. I've bent a Durablow and went thru the hassle of getting it replaced so I speak with expereince not BS that i've read about or heard about.

That would be great, but I belive the warrenty is only for bending and breaking.

Do you know any more about this?

the way I read it on their site was that it was only replaced if it was broken, not bent...I don't think you get a new one if it's bent.

Can I adjust the size of this aftermarket axles like Lonestar and RPM? I saw 1.5 to 3.5 in their website

durablue didnt charge me anything to replace my broken axle the first time but said if it happends again its $175. it was like 6 months old and broke in half at the axle nut. the next axle i buy will be an RPM axle.

yeah joe, i really don't know much more. i thought they would fix it, but maybe not. you could always give them a call and they might give you a deal or something. i am sure you could tell them your going to buy a rpm because they aren't working with you. :D who knows what they would tell you then.

Unfortunately the warranty specifies the sprocket hub is covered :(

Edit... That should have said 'not covered'
