Need A 400ex Shift Shaft Bad!!!!!

Anyone parting out a motor?? I broke my shift shaft the other day at practice and need to find another one so I can split my cases and get it fixed! ANYONE with one just respond to the post or shoot me a PM and Ill get right back to you! Thanks, I APPRECIATE IT!!!

i did the same thing a while back but i just welded the shifter back on until the next time i freshen up the motor....got me back riding quick .....

He;s talking about the shift shaft--not the shifter itself.

Send me a PM i was also talking about the shift shaft,i was un aware that you had to split the cases to replace the shifter...according to where you broke it you may have to have a piece of round stock welded to the shaft,mine broke right between the two splined areas..

Yea, it has a big 'flange' on the back and has to be tapped in to get it out. :cool:
