Blacking out the headlight?

Why are people blacking out there headlights on there 450rs? Almost all of the 450r's with a lot of mods have theres blacked out. :confused:

we get rid of switch. dont use headlight on track

I dont use mine, so until my hood comes in im protecting it until then.

to race all lights on the ride must be coverd up or taken off. so you take number plate black background covering and put it over the hedlight (looks butt if you just take out the light!!!!):D
