you cant be far off the # of quads ive bought and sold. im sticking with the one i have from here on out. :p

Hey Alaska! Congrats on the new ride, I too just picked one up myself. I had a cannondale before, but I do like the new 450R, it seems to pull hard and rides real smooth.

Son was racing this weekend....I think the TRX feels more at home on trails than the MX track out of the box. The YFZ felt much more at home on the track out of the box to me. I'm not knocking the TRX, just giving my ride impressions.

I like the quad a lot, it is a great overall quad that can do it all if needed. On an MX track though...I'd really have to give the nod to the YFZ.....Jim

Welcome to the 450R club Jim.

You can't really compare that R to your YFZ just yet though. I mean come on man, your YFZ is setup really nice and your R is just beginning right?

I'm sure you'll set up the R just as nicely as your YFZ though in due time. Then compare 'em. Seems to me you can set up either one the way you want em. It's all personal preference I believe.
