I have a 250ex and my friend has a 350 rancher. he wants to drag me and is confident he is going to win. i think its funny cuz i beat my dads warrior in drags and that is ten times faster than the rancher. who do u think would win???

unless its like a 25 mile drag, youll wast him. youll get to your top speed much faster and leave him in the dust. the rancher MAY have a faster top speed, if it is, it will be like 4-5 mph faster, so really nothing to worry about. in other words, youll wast him...

my friend has a rancher n i have a 250ex n wen we race ill get him everywhere on roads n stuff i dont usually completely pin out i go to out 3/4-7/8 throttle n hell CREEP up next to me...like it takes 5 seconds for his front tire to get from my back tire to level with my leg...n all i gotta do to get ahead is pin it n i get ahead pretty quick so as long as u dont mess up u got him

a 2wd drive rancher we'll "waste" u in a race, im pretty sure. They get to top speed alot quicker then u think and they go about 58-62

i think the rancher can take u but the only rancher i ride with has the bs conversion kit so im not sure but its prety quick

yeah our rancher is faster then a stock 250. but it keeps up with my modded 250ex. but eventually on a long arse drag the rancher pulls away.

i would love to see a 250ex beat a warrior in a drag and i dont even like warriores its just i dont see a 250ex beating a one i know i couldnt beat them on my 250x when i had it and it would beat a 250ex

the 250ex will smoke it, im sorry but ive had both, the 250ex i had did about 80 kph, not bang on, but around that, the 350 we had was no where near the same power, speed or accel. Hands down the 250ex will smoke it. Then again, the 350 we had was a 350es, with electonic shift, 4 wheel drive etc. not the same as a rancher, but i was told they called the 350es, a rancher in the US, but called it the 350es in Canada, someone wanna clear this up ?

I live like 35 miles southeast of Fayetteville off of HWY 23, down a dirt road right beside Flemmings Creek. Me and my little step-brother have a little track beside our field that we play around on all the time. He has a xr100 and I have a 400ex.

cool i live in bentonville if that helps. im sure u know where thats at. but i race at sugarcreek mx. Its a pretty fun track with a nice 75' table that i just cleared last night. u should come up some time.

I don't think my 400 could handle jumps like that.:eek2: Right now it's basicly stock. I just bought it used a few monthes ago and I'm on tight budget.:( But maybe I could hit them slower?:p

My friends 350 rancher 4x4 toped out at 51 MPH, and that was going down hill, It takes those macines so long to get up to speed in 5th gear. Race up a hill once that rancher hits 4th or 5th gear you will really start to blow him away.

My uncle bought a 2004 Rancher 2wd and I have my 250EX, of course. We drag raced on LOOONG stretch and from take off, I straight up whooped his arse and kept pulling away, but then I got to fifth gear, which in my opinion, is geared a little too low because I pull it way too easy. Next thing I know, I am looking back and he is catching up, but he was drafting off of me too, that ******.

At first, like right when he got it, I was actually a little faster than him, but now it is breaking in and starting to gain more power. My 250EX gained a ton of power between when I first got it and when it was broken in. It went from mild on the bottom to now where I can get a wheelie up easy from a dead stop in 2nd gear. No drastic movements or anything, just a slight tug on the bars.

I gotta hand it to the Rancher, it is pretty fast, even though it does have a 100cc advantage, but it also weighs a lot more. I can actually whoop his butt on the trails though cause the little EX is so light. I can do anything I want with mine on some of the deeper water crossings cause mine just floats a little bit. I even made it farther than him on this THICK rut and I went second. I just got caught it his rut from his front tire. My entire left side was engulfed it muck, the tires were hidden beneath the muck, along with my new nerfs.

Overall, 2 great Honda machines in my book.

i guess my POS Rancher sucks only b/c it cant go fast right, but that doesnt bother me cause i know that. ur pos 450r cant go thro mud so i guess that makes it one right?????:rolleyes:

im with dirtboy on this one. every quad has its ability to do something better. and yeah i rode a foreman and the pull in 4th and 5th, i mean what pull :o i like the yamaha gearing on the bigbears, 4th gear tops out at 25, then its 5th all the way to 45.
