The only thing honda might have up it's sleave is their balls, cause that's how far they've retracted since they stopped the 250R.

i very seriously doubt honda can afford to shut down the 400ex completely... they have too much money invested and is one of the best selling bikes out there right now... just my .02:)

Hopefully they're doing some kind of redesign for the 400ex. Or maybe just some new features to compete with the z400 and such. Are there any bigger pictures of the '05 models? Those pics on that page are quite small.

i hope to god they dont put reverse on that bike...for the simple reason the reverseon sport bikes when out the door when the new 450cc machines came in...

imo if you want reverse and either too lazy to push ya quad backwards, or u dont know the right technique to spin it arround w/o reverse....then you need a utility bike...i can see having reverse on the utilitys...but i kno myself i can spin my 400ex arround quicker than what it takes my buddy to put his raptor in reverse, back up, and put it back in first gear and take off....

liquid cooling would be great...and so would a kicker option

I agree with you on the reverse thing, except it would be nice to have it when you have to push it backwards up a hill and through brush like I always do. VERY exhausting. I also agree with the liquid cooling and the kick starter. I could definately use a kick starter sometimes.

I say make the 400ex liquid cooled and thats the only change, but use a crf type 400cc unicam motor with kicker kit and electric option, kinda like the yamaha you can get the kicker as a option.

i bet only thing the are going to do is take the 450r shocks and put the 450r suspesion on the front of it....i bet thats gonna be the only drastic change...other than that...maybe a new color, or something retarded that the users dont need nor ever will need

there should be a kicker option on the 400ex incase ur in the middle of the woods when u find out your battery is dead. Also i agree on the reverse thing, the 400 and the 450 dont need reverse. Ive only found reverse NEEDED when i was ridin a utility down a hill full of brush and got stuck on a small tree. I couldnt push that fat joker off the tree so i just slammed it in reverse, leaned way back on the seat and nailed it, and came straight up off the tree. Other then odd situations like that, u should never really need reverse unless ur a lazy sob who doesnt know how to do nothin.

IMO, if u need reverse to turn your dang quad around, u shouldnt be ridin.....seriously
