OK i am going to break down and buy a new quad. The question i present to you is: Which one do i get? I am looking at the TRX450R, YFZ450, Predator, KFX/Z/DVX 400, or Banshee. Right now i'm leaning toward the YFZ b/c of the electric start. I ride a lot of creeks, muddy trails and such and i know that it sucks kicking a quad over when the water is over the tires, or stuck on a hill (had a 250x once). From what i hear the yamaha and the honda are about even power wise and handling wise. I was also looking at the z400 b/c of the electric start and reverse.

I ride mostly tight woods, i love hill climbing, i also do a little play racing with my friends, hit a few small jumps we made (10-15 ft). I also plan on racing some of the local harescrambles once i get my new quad. I need something that will fit my 6'-3" frame comfortably.

So what should i get?

Thanks

I don't need reverse or e start for that matter but it would sure be handy to have them.

I'm pretty much stuck between the honda and the yamaha with the polaris hanging on the edge. I just don't know.

I'd get the z400, I have heard that the 450's can be cramped, and I don't think the yamaha has much low end power compared to other 4 strokes. the z probably has a bigger frame, and reverse, and I definately wouldn't get a banshee, I had one, and it was good in an open feild, and the dunes and thats it!

YFZ...............the mighty 250R didn't have much bottom end either.Riding the YFZ to me is just like riding a 250R very smooth and lots of power.I love Honda just as much as the rest of you but the "button" is what made me make up my mind.
