Transmission oil cheak?

Should I use the bolt to cheak the transmission oil level right after I pour it in, or after I pour it in and warm it up? After riding if I take the bolt out oil almost always leaks.

You need to check the tranny oil after the bike is warmed up.

To change the oil you will want to warm the bike up first for 3-5 minutes then drain the old and fill with new. Restart the bike for another 3-5 minutes, shut it off and then check the bolt and a little should leak out.


Note if nothing leaks out then add some with the bolt still out until it start leaking some out the check hole.
