i am looking into a 416 kit and was wondering how much just the piston and sleeve and whatever you NEED (gaskets, etc.). after that i would like to know who sells them because i was looking at some kit that was like way over 2g! thanx.:)

hetricks racing sells a kit for 500$ that gives u a cam(of ur choice), piston, and installed into ur motor....

i think a piston is just 130$ from marcums or so and if u want to order a xr400 cam it will be another 120$ but u have to install it urself....

the kit u were lookin at was probably like a sparks 416 national motor with bigger vavles hard rockers and so on...

Call Marcums. 386-325-6060 Everything in your door for about $275. Then you just have to find somebody to install it

Yeah, Marcums will probably have the best prices on parts. The $275 includes an the piston, gasket kit, valve seals, & xr400 cam (you don't need to resleeve for a 416). If you do the work yourself, you will only need another $60-75 to have a machine shop bore the cylinder.

Yeah you can send it to marcums and get it bored for like $40. if not you can send it to me and i will have it done for $40. I have a friend at the machine shop. he done my 416 bore and port work. He does an excellent job and he is cheap. I can get it ported for you for $100
