Has anyone purchased or installed the FST 400EX oil cooler?
I haven't yet, but it will probably be one of my next buys. Anything to increase oil capacity and cooling is a wonderful thing.

Ive got one. I havent got my motor back from TC yet so I dont know how it will perform yet.

Hey Chad, how tough does the installation look? From the picture in FST's web site, it looks like you have to drill/tap a hole in the right-side case cover & the cylinder head cover. Is that the case, or is it a simple job of plumbing in an addiional cooler? The only thing holding me back from getting one is that I don't want to go drilling holes in those parts.

Sorry it took forever to post back to you,,,I was searching old topics, yeah you have to pipe tap into the motor under the clutch cover I believe. i sold mine because Tom didnt want me running it, He said I dont need it, its only good for XC racers who race for extended hours!!
