300EX Oil Filter Cover O-Ring

On my 300EX there are 2 o-rings on the oil filter cover cover. I larger one and a smaller one. I have lost the lower one. The local bike shop I get my parts from do not have this part listed on their pojector thing. I have gotten it from a hardware store but they seem to wear out quick. Does anyone know where I can get this part?

every time i have bought a new oil filter new o-rings comw with it. but if it isnt leaking oil bad with/out that o-ring you sould just wait till the next time you change your oil to relace it.

Well we were out on the trails and all of a sudden i am pouring oil from there, we had to patch it with some rubber stuff someone had and now I am just getting around to working on it. The only thing I get with my oil filter is the oil filter. lol

try checking at your closet honda shop. they should have some.;)

i think your talking about # 8 in this pic. the part #'s are here too so you can just give that # to a dealer and they can order it.

i always wondered why mine leaks a little bit of oil from there...:rolleyes: man i'm stupid lol
