I am gonna do a 250r hood with light conversion, tag 5X red bars, black and red spider grips, the elkas are gonna be here next week. I do all trail riding so the fenders are staying! :D

OK I'm curious for those of you who have mods w/ a 400 carb what is you air mixture screw @????? I put the carb on & it's running GREAT I'm just surprised we didn't have to do any adjustments LOL, it does have a little popping when I let off but it's not bad, I did check my plug & it's a little rich(better that than lean ;)) but it's ALWAYS ran rich it seems,even w/ the stock carb/setup, I'm running a 150 main, may drop that to a 148 or 9 if they come in that to see if that helps but figured I'd see what you guys around 500-1000' are running ;) Thanks !!

hey thanks lil 300ex hey momma, i think im going back to all stock 400ex settings, i got a 148 main and it runs great, i still am to tinker with it after i get my exhaust on, thats why its not perfect now :blah: So thats my plan to try :D thanks again lil 300ex

Well... I got a little sand in my engine last year... so it smoked really bad. We bought a new engine over the winter. The engine we bought was already full mod... so I don;t know where the stuff was bought from... everything that we've done to it has been bought from eBay...:D

Also... A lot of the stuff on my quad is for 400EX, 250r, and YFZ450...

actually you can't run it in the production class. you welded on a custom front shock mount. thats breaking the rules. it increases travel, and it's not legal. you can run in other classes but not production classes. Like if you wanted to run youth production, you couldn't, you'd make the cc limit, but you can't have that shock mount up top. Ask Roostin, that's why he had to get custom 14.75 shocks with his +2 400ex arms on his 250x.

Yup... look for some +2" up 1" for a 250r... there's a bit of grinding involved to fit them into the mounts, but when you get em on they measure out to +3" up 1" on a 300.

quad_racer7..you can't change suspension geometry in Production classes, and i don't know who in the right mind would even try to run pro on a 300ex...

thanks man, i might be coming up to alot of national races next year, coming home from my race tonight, me and my dad really started talking about getting a stock cylinder and bore the stock sleeve out some with a wiseco 12.5:1 piston in it to race nationals with.

I got fullbore plastic and it does NOT have the mold thing. (If that's what your asking about. lol) I don't think that any after market plastics do.
