Ok, with teh gibson, denton, an teh viper, steerin dampner. Is there set way to put them on? Because i noticed tongiht when i put mine on, there is more resistance , one way more then the other ? Is that normal, or what ? And what about runnin twin dampners, like i have seen on motocross quads, for a XC bike? Would that be a problem or what any info would help right now .

The resistance should be the same in both directions. Check your installation, It may be binding.

As far as two dampeners for XC I personally would think it would be to tight when weaving through the tight trees, but thats me.I am sure it has it's advantages on the MX track.

It is in a bind, it should feel equal when turning to either side. If your a pro/pro-am rider then 2 dampners might be necessary since the speed that Gust or JJ carry is like a rocket ship I understand the need for 2 of them. I've used just 1 for 4 years and it works just fine for my snail pace racing speed...:(
