Right now i'm in the process of building an ATC 250R powered quad, well the quad already had the R motor in it, but it blew up so i'm redoing everything. But i was thinking instead of rebuilding the ATC R, if a CR 250 dirtbike motor would fit in it? How much larger, if any, is the Cr motor compared to the ATC? Any input would be appreciated.

The cr motor would be smaller because it doesn't have the counter-balancer at the front of the cases like the R does. I would stick with the atc motor, and just have Esr fix the top end, and get an Esr pipe. I doubt that it would be worth it to go through the hasle of fabricating mounts for the cr engine, when it won't be counter-balanced and no matter what you do will vibrate a ton more than the stock engine.

like 310Rduner already said the cr would be smaller and you would have more power but its not worth it the cr doesnt have a counter balance and it would kill you with the vibrations and not worth the time to make the mounts and a pipe but thats my option
