my money is the stator is the problem.... they tend to go bad, had the same thing happen, all of a sudden just starts to act like it runs outa gas but to no prevail it wont start again, i would take a tester to the stator and look in your manuel and see what kind of current you are supposed to be getting from it

I have seen your exact problem happen a couple of time on the 250 x's and it was the stator.

i think it is, and thanks to a very nice member (exman) he is bringing a stator to the Nationals for me. We are going to put it on Thursday hopefully.

well it is fixed. I drove to a lot of shops this morning, normally I would never trust a dealer to touch my stuff..but this was an emergency. lol

I took it in and they said they had a 2 week waiting list in the shop. I said, man you know the nationals are in casey this week right, i was really hoping to race. He said " well in that case we will get right to work".

They personally pulled it off the trailer and right onto the lift and got to work. We left, came back an hour and a half later to see whats up, the said "your ready to roll!"

I had a bad stator and the fixed it up. Didn't need a new one but the fixed it and it cost $93 for 1 1/2 hours labor:huh

I thought it was cool of them to get right on the job!

thanks for the replies everone
