Basic 330 Kit

I was wondering what the difference is between a basic 330 kit that runs you 300-400$ and a profab kit that runs you into the 1000$ dollar range? If i were to buy the basic kit for 300$ or so, what else would i need to do to make it model the built kit for 1000$??? Your 2cents will be appreciated! THANKS:D

the higher priced kits include parts like cams, springs, valves, etc. the other one just has a sleeve, piston, gaskits, etc.

Would the basic 330kit still put out alot more power? If i was only able to afford around 300-400$ worth, what engine parts should i put on other than an bigger carb, and exhaust. What engine mod should come next.

You are still looking at more than $300-400. You will need a machine shop to bore it out to accept the sleeve. I would just go with a 352, bring it into a local shop, and they can do that all for probally about $60, and than slowly build up money and build up the top end.
