lonestar a-arms that is. any nightmare stories i need to hear before i buy?

The only thing you need to hear is to buy LAEGER's!!! No, for real, lonestars are good but they have three models. They have some "rec" arms that arent all that special, then they have "race" arms that are about as much as the laeger's, (but not as good in my opinion), and then they have the DC4 Longravel setup which is good for longtravel but I would look at some other ones if I was gonna go LT. Laeger is where it's at for the 400, but LST is still quality stuff dont get me wrong. All this is just my opinion of course so do what you want bro...

LSR would be a excellent choice!! There's a guy on ebay that sells them at a good price.
