I was wondering who you guys think are the best 330ex engine builders. ALso how do the 330ex motors run, how much horsepower do they produce? thanks

gthunder is the best! also, he can build you a 350 for almost no more money, think it was only 50 bucks more or so, and it smokes every 330 ive run it against

thanks for the replies, Bradley300 how is the reliability on your 350, did you need a larger carb? Your 300 is one of the nicest ive seen

thanks for the compliments!

i have only had my motor a few months so i cant really say much about the reliabilty yet, but i choes gthunder b/c of what i had heard about his power and reliability.

you dont NEED a larger carb, but you might as wel get one if your going all out w/ everything else

well, i sent laz a motor that had been run w/o oil so i needed a little more work than normal, i spent a little less than 1500 bucks and got the 350cc sleeve/pistion kit, full race port, crank rebuild, new cam chain, HD clutch, valve job, and ignition mod (to remove rev limiter) and lots of heli coils, misc. nuts and bolts and obviously, labor. think my motor was gone for about a month and a half.

i am using the stock honda rockers and a white brothers high rev cam (that i had already bought) as well as a 400ex carb that i already had

I THINK the 350 sleeve and piston kit is 225, race porting was around 200, not sure about the clutch.

I'm gonna have to call Laz. Everybody says he's the ****, and from what I've seen he seems to be. Do you know how much power your quad puts to the wheels like that? Sounds cool, and to me, the price ain't too bad.

i had laz dyno my quad, he said its in the high 20's, low 30's in the HP department.

i talked to laz quite a bit b4 i sent him my motor, he was extremely helpful and answer all my questions.

the only thing i dont have that i would like, is a good oil cooler, runs fine w/o it, but it does run a little warm

Is Jagg the only company that makes an oil cooler for the 300?
