Hey, this is my aunt's new 250R that I just found for her. Picked it up yesterday, and it's in 10x better condition than the pictures show even. Beautiful mint condition, only things changed on it are renthal bars, ct pipe/answer silencer, terry cable braided lines (for every line on bike), ceet cover, sidewinder chain/renthal sprockets, omf skid, and a twist throttle. Everything else on it is stock perfect condition from honda. Every bolt is in perfect shiney condition, stock plastics/stickers, stock light still, stock toolbox with factory tools, factory manual (not even smudged ) stock honda vin # stickers on both frame rails.. words can't describe it. ALl for $3400 too. I can say that this bike is in better condition than 85% of your guys' bikes without feeling the least bit pompous. The front end is tighter than her 02' 300ex that we just sold. Not a SPECK of rust or even wear on this bike really. Only thing that is worn I could point to would be the left frame rail where your boot rubs. The stock rubbers still have 95% tread at least. This bike has been garaged for the last 4 years and never ridden. Owner had other bikes he rode for the most part and left this one pretty well alone (except for maintaining it).

Heh.. I found it on cycletrader in Valencia, Ca.. about 4 hours south of us doing 90mph down I-5. I called him the day it was listed, first call he had. Couple days after I called him he told me he had had 4 offers, going up to 3500 (I offered 3400 cash) but said he would hold it for me since we had built up a raport and wanted it to go to someone who knew about em. The list price was $3700.. I feel like we stole the bike:devil:

In order to compete with my aunt and still have the better bike, I'm ordering v-force reeds, mohawk front tires, stainless air scoops, clear radiator hose kit, esr temp guage, chroming my right engine cover to match the left... and buying a 2000 cr250 ignition setup by Gt thunder from someone on the boards.

Not a thing on my motor that I haven't done now.. except a stroked crank......hmm I want one of those too:D

In case anyone was thinking it, this bike has NEVER been restored.. this isn't just a good condition bike that the owner revamped, this is literally how it was maintained:eek2:

Thanks for the compliments on mine, I try to keep it clean even though I do ride it hard. The cylinder is still on the original bore too just needed to get it honed when it was rebuilt.

I am using a picture hoster that only hosts when I am online. The pics will go down when my dsl isn't connected. It sucks that it goes down overnight and until noon when I get home, but at least the pictures don't get thrown off from over-viewing.

The hoster I'm using is tzo.com if anyone is interested. You get a free 30 day trial, and can upload your entire photo album (as well as a website) in one upload and it's free. Unlimited viewing, and they won't timeout or anything. Just sucks your internet has to be connected.
