Oil Coming Out of Bypass Hose

Onetime a dealership told me to put 2 1/2 quarts of oil in my 300ex and that would be plenty, ok so i go ride it and i get to riding it pretty hard and oil started coming out of the hose thats alil above the head. i figured it was coming out cuz there was to much oil in it. i stopped riding it and the next time i rode it it was smoking alot worse then it use too. i was wondering if it could of messed up someting in the head or somewhere from so much oil being in it. maybe somebody can tell me what is wrong. its a 95 model and it did smoke alil before this happend but ran better. what do yall think

how do u know if your head needs to be worked too. when i get a new topend

What does the dipstick read? 2 1/2 Qts. is too much.

yea it is to much. i didn't check it after i put the oil in i thought this person that told me to put 2 and a half in it knew what he was talking about.
