yfz plastic on a 250r

well i am building a race quad :D and i am putting the yz 450 engine in it and i wanted to put the yfz front and rear plastic on it......... but what i want to know is if the tank cover will fit on a 250r tank or would a yfz tank fit on a 250r frame:D

why would you want to dirty up the 250r...:confused: :blah: i think it would work though with some ingenuity & hillbilly rigging but it may or may not look pretty

if i were you dont use a stock 250r frame.

ive seen it done and it looks exqually like a yfz but they moved the mounts :macho

make up some mounts throw the plastic on, it might be a little fubabbed but it would work

um i forget who but one guy on Zcentral put 250r plastics on a Z, it looked good to, but it took him a while because he had to make all the brackets

i would use the 250 plastic i like the looks of it more then the yfz but i think you would be able to do it with some driling

you'll need to fab up some mounting brackets and all that. should work though.

yep going to be doing it:devil: i am going to start fabing it in about a hour my rear brackets came in and my seat lock came in to so i am going to me trying to get the yfz seat on there too hope it all works out of me :macho

Id keep the 250R plastics on it. I think R are the best lookin bikes out there..but thats just my opinion:)

same here and when i gets the new r or 400ex im goin put 250r plastics on it.

anyways its his bike and it should be done the way he wants it, and personly i wants to see how it all works out
