OK so I am taking a page out of the Quadshop's custom front end set up for my 300, like Dave Mccarrols. Fabbing up a real nice relocator to allow for a full 10" of front wheel travel, sent specs over to elka and they say all is good but.... there is always a but. They suggested to go with the next step up in shocks from the triple rate recreational ones I had planned on about $400 more to the rezzie adjustable compression ones. I don not plan on any racing or stuff. Does anyone have expierence with the rec style shock and as long is it is set up for me and my bike do you think I would really need the upgraded style.

Spend the extra $$$ if you look at it you will be getting a better deal because you can divide the total by 2. $400 is actually 200 and you will be happier w the performance!

Go with the adjustable ones, this will allow you to adjust the shocks for different riding styles, terrain, tires, ect. I'm glad I bought the better ones,my racing partner wishes he would have.
