first thing i would do is rejet the bike.

heh sorry I didn't mention it:rolleyes:.. but of course I'll do the proper jetting.
I ride on sand and would like some low-end and mid power. So i was thinking of the hotcams stage 1.

HRC IMO is the best drop in. In sand I like more rpm to climb hills

I have the Hotcams stage 1.

I love it. It really added alot of bottom and mid range power. Whenever I need it, the power is always there, especially in the low RPMs.

So, If you do alot of trail riding and are mostly in the lower RPMs, then it is the perfect cam.

But If you drag race, or don't ride alot of trails, then get the Hotcams Stage 2. Its more Mid-High range power.

with the stock piston i probably wouldn't go much more aggressive than the stage 1 hotcam. you could lower your gearing some to gain more low end power. however, you will lose some up top.

hotcams 1 - low-mid

hotcams 2 - mid-top
