Clutch Cable ?

Will a 300ex clutch cable work on a 400ex? Mine snapped and my buddy's 300 has been sitting here for a good 9 months, so I was wondering if it would work??

I tried getting that 300 cable off, and its a mother ****** to get off. I couldn't even get it all the way off. I'll go and try again...see what I can do:devil:
