i have full graydon proline skid plates, they work great. they are strong too...i rode hard alot, on alot of rocky trails and mine dont have any dents in them. this winter i drilled about 1 inch holes in them so the dirt and mud could get out easier.

i'd stay away from ac, or at least their skid plates. had my swingarm skid for one ride race and it was trashed. and the course had hardly any rocks! a couple friends run prm and swear by them. i'm getting prm or protect next.

I don't know much about the AC skid plate, but I would not recommend the DG. I went through 2 of them, one on the 300 and one on the 400, replaced them both with PRM, very happy with PRM. I decided to try one of those Protect stainless steel. The PRM is a little beat up after 2 1/2 years of abuse (2 years longer than the DG). My 2 cents. Good luck shopping.

I have an ac belly skid on my 250r. So far has held up great, and looks good too. I had to make the side holes a little bigger with a drill for mounting though but not a big deal.

I'm thinking about getting the prm's, my buddy's got them and loves em. I'm also looking at the pro armor's. Their swing arm plate looks extremely beefy. Also, their a-arm plates come up in the front for added protection. They are a little more on the pricy side. My other buddy had the DG's and they flat out suck. Their mounts are garbage and they are just all in all junk. I wouldn't use DG anything even if you gave it to me.

I would say Pro-Tect are the Best Skid Plates. B&M Racing also makes a Very Good Swingarm Skid that is also Stainless Steel.
