Anybody make an aftermarket YFZ frame yet?

Know of any companies making an aftermarket frame for the YFZ450 yet? I've seen lots of suspension, but no frames yet.

Actually this motor should fit in any of the frames that were built for the YZ 450 dirtbike motor. I believe the motor mounts are the same. Try JB racing, Jody built a frame for me for a YZ 450 motor.

yeah but most of those frames use 250r parts..not yfz

Cool, I'll check it out. A frame that takes 250R components is what I'm looking for.

yfz motors will bolt into any YZ426, YZ400, YZ450 motor frame... all are the same mounts...


i doubt u'll never see a true yfz frame be made... theres no point to waste money designin them whent hey are illegal to race... that was the whole point of the aftermarket frame...

They aren't illegal for desert racing out here. I do So Cal District 37 races as well as Best in the Desert in Nevada. It's all good out here.
