actually it will...but i forget what year 250r one fits better...you have to have a linkage mount welded to your frame...other then that it will...:)

i think he is talking about a 400ex swinger on a 250x not 250r.

It won't work without major fabracation, and then you would have to have a custom shock built to make it work correctly :(

You can put a 86-87 250R arm on a 250X or a 300EX. I installed one on my old 300EX. It made it a +4 on a 250X & 300EX. All that was needed was to fab up a shock mount in the swingarm at the original 250 or 300 location. Wasn't very hard at all. Was totally awesome for hill climbing. As for the 400ex arm I have no clue.

i ment that the 250r one was soposed to be better for the 300/250x then the 400 one.
