Yeah, its a wild ride. A lotta torque/HP. Crack the throttle and it goes, until it hits the power band, then it takes off. Front end seems pretty light, and it likes to wheelie when the true power kicks in. Its definitely a fun toy.

82 KE100 with a wiseco piston and answer bars i have a pic but its like 1600x1200 (used hi res on the digi cam will use low res 800x600 next time).

i love dirtbikes more than anything else just because of the 2-stroke motors. my first real powerband was on a 91 kx80 with the usual engine mods and the powerband was addicting. i'd go in and out of it going down the road just for fun :D

iv been thinking about getting a CR250.

Well i got a xr100 and i love it it may be a wose bike but its my ho because it said honda on the front and now it says ho becasue i peeled the nda off of it lol

i was thinking about boring my 80 out to a 90 getting a carb,clutch, and either port&polish the head then shave it or buy a cool dome head. im not really sure yet i kinda would like to have a 400ex

Yo the four strok is the way to go the torque is outta this world i only have a Yz250f but when i first got it it kicked the hell outta me but now its like ive been riden it my whole life i got so used to it its very fast but im in need of more power im looken to get me a new YZ450F outta all the bikes ive riden the 450f is by far the best bike to have for the track its a lil crazy for the woods but the more power the funner it is right.

I'm really thinking about selling my 400ex, and getting a yz125. I grew up on bikes, and last bike I had was a 95 cr125, i kinda miss the 2 strokes, and bikes in general. my parents think I'll get it though, and wish I had a quad!

i "dont really like" fourstroke bikes, nothing personal so dont get your panties in a bundel. I grew up on 2 stroke bikes my whole life and know quite alot about them, never liked the 4 stroke bikes.. But this year i switched to my 400ex and like it.. But i miss havin the power of my cr250 to fly past almost anyone that wants to start somthin.:grr: :macho

i grew up on quads have raptor but added a cr250 friday love every minute of it badd bike it was a show bike it was copied off ricky carmical race bike he was actually there when the guy was building it then i finally picked it up friday soo it made me very happy

I grew up on bikes too its just that everybody around here has a foreman and its hard to mud with them but its the opposite they cant keep up with a dirtbike. So what do I get? A little of both: a 400EX.

And MXjunkie, getting a new carb would be a waste of money on your 80. If anything it would add like .5hp on top while losing 1-2 on the bottom. I had a 97 CR80 Expert before my 125.

Hey now. Everyone knows that Suzuki's have all the power and suspension anyone could need just pick up a copy of dirtbike or Transworld and read the shootouts the only problem is headshake they all (RMs) have it but as far as the CR250 goes,well that is a different story it needs a little more work done in the motor dept, but the handling is awesome.If you can ride and want speed and cornering ability Suz. is the only way to go.
So I say if ya got some cash and want a good bike go pick up a Rm or RMZ!
