I am planning on sending my stock shock off to get it revalved. My buddy had his sent to elka for 300 bucks they made it dual rate w/ zero preload.......Anybody had this done??? Any better deals out there???

You should try Santo Derisi. I haven't got mine worked on yet, but will soon.

I have had the elka conversion done to my bike for about 3 years respring and revalve is the way to go unless you can afford the aftermarket rear shock. :)

You won't go wrong with Santo or Elka doin your rear shock. Both are members on exriders...;)

i wouldn't give it a second thought, he set mine up and from what i can tell so far it's pretty killer, i'll be doing some pretty hardcore riding for the next 4 days so i'll get a better feel for it, so far i really don't have much seat time

nice thing i've noticed so far is coming out of corners it doesn't want to wheelie anymore you can come out of a corner and just hammer it and the front end only comes up bout a foot and thats it you don't have to keep feathering the clutch to keep the front end down, just point and hammer

yah, he did a set of elka tripples for me, those were new and then he revalved my rear stocker for the link and changed it to a dual rate, here's the link, you swinger skid will have to be notched out in order to clear the link
