what boots do you reccomend?

i picked up some thor motocross boots last time b/c i needed some right then and they were like 70 and i didnt have alot of cash at the time but they suck! i want some nice boots like some alpine stars or something and an atv boot so its got some tractin this time around so what do u guys wear and how do you like them , i heard sidi was good but wore out fast? thanks for the input

Go with Alpinestar Tech 6's, absolutely perfect boot. Comfortable all day, and provide a LOT of support for your ankles, and can save your feet in a crash (I've tested this;))

Yea def alpinestar either tech 6 or tech 8 both good i have tech 6 and they just saved me from breaking my ankle very good and comfortable boots.

I got the Tech 6 when they were on sale for $180:)

They are exrteamly comfortable but took some time getting used to, being my first pair of riding boots. Now, when I ride with 'regular' boots, it doesn't feel right.

I wish they had the 'ATV' sole though.

I have had my Vectors for a year and a half and they are great boots, theyve saved my ankles a few times. the only complaint is that u need pretty sharp pegs for them if the going gets slippery.

vectors would be worse than any other alpinestar to get. The sole is shaped very awkwardly for walking. There is almost no flat part to the sole, so even standing on footpegs is weird.

What pair of thor's did you have? I just got the Thor T-30's, and I like them alot, i got the white ones, but you can get them in black with a ATV sole.... just my 2 cents

vectors are good for ppl with narrow and flat feet, the other boots would be too wide for me and i need something that fits like a tennis shoe more or less

i dont remeber they were 02 models i got in 03 for cheap but the are mx boots im prob going to get the sidi discovery or some alpine stars

i got a pair of oneal all terrains which is the atv styl boot lil more flexible n atv sole n then a pair of alpine star m4's or tech 4's cant remeber but they r comforatable n nice the oneals were 119 and the alpine stars were like 239

I got the Alpinestars Tech 4's:confused: The one with the atv sole. These boots are very comfortable....I can't go back to wearing chitty boots anymore. :p

Beleive the hype...Alpinstars are the friggin best!:cool:

theres a guy on ebay that sells tech 6 alpinestars for $179 if you use the buy it now option. shipping on mine was like $11 and i got them in 3 days. but they are not the atv sole, so i dont guess that helps you out any.
