jumping bikes

today me and my friends were jumpin our bicycles and my friends got one of those cheap x-games ramps from wal mart and we were doubling 2 of those. i could jump the farthest out of everyone, and i kept going farther and farther finally we had the 2 ramps up too 15 ft! so i was gonna go for 16ft and i was like, if i clear this one im done for the day...so i went as fast as i could, cleared the jump good but a little sideways and next thing i knew i was sliding across the pavement:( , man i hate road burn!

but anyways, i was just wondering about how far has anyone jumped there bike. i know 15ft may not be far but remeber its with a ramp about 1-2ft tall!

a few years ago when i was into bikes and that we built a nice ramp (kinda like jons ramp, but a smaller scale:blah: ) and we were going like 21-22 ft. I dont even own a bike n e more tho

we put the jump on the sidewalk and angled it towards the grass and landed on flat, i had some $100 mountain bike from target or somthing. im talking jumping distance wise, not height... just incase we were getting mixed up here

i got about 22 ft down at my friends shop, the ramp was about 2 ft tall, i wish they still had it down there 15ft is pretty good off one of those ramps i killed mine with my dirtbike :p

Like 3 years ago me and my freinds measured 19ft ..and the ramp was no more that 9 in, tall

i litlle brpother was jumping 15 feet yoru better off not using the landing ramp. we were jumping like 16 to 18 feet on day but we were flying thats as far as we could go.

last summer my friends and i made a 4ft ramp and jumped our old bikes into the river in our forest. when towed by a quad my best distance was about 25 feet out and 10 or 11 feet above the lip of the ramp according to my friends.

theres good riding spots, they just built a park in delaware bluediamond and its pretty close to me, i wanna move up in the moutains i could ride bmx in the woods and crap

haha we towed my gt bump bike behind a working qoud all the way down the strret at 40 mph i hit a 4-5 foot tall kicker and jumped proly 15 feet in the air and like 25-35 feet in distance, i was going for the swimming pool but my back tire went over it by about 7 inches...hard landing lol bent both rims blew both tires, didnt bend the frame and meraculously didnt break myself!

We have a video of me and a kid getting tangled on it, we went down hard! Somehow my handlebars went through his in the air:eek2:

we have about 5 kickers, some whoops then theres some trails in a nearby town that has pro-sized jumps. The jumps at the trails are insane almost all of them are 4-5ft tall and have so much vert to them.

my bike has-alex chrome tripple wall wheels,kenda k-rad tires,povery 3 piece crank,poverty econoline 44 chain wheel,kmc chain,snafu grips,s&m bars,haro stem, s&m fork,poverty sofa seat,povery seat post,hombre brakes,poverty pedals,poverty chain tensors"2",diamondback pegs and a fsa sealed pig headset-----the mods arent on the bike in the pics
