Does anybody own a Curtis Sparks pipe for their 300ex........
Is it the best pipe you have ever put on a 300EX or is their others:

Duncan Fatboy 4-
Big Gun-
Pro Circuit Slip-on-
Curtis Sparks-
HMF-
TC Racing-
Hetrick Racing-
FMF-
Whitebrothers Pro Meg Slip-on-
Yoshimura-
Trinity Racing-

Please tell what is the best pipe you own for your 300ex......

I hardly have anypower from my Pro Circuit T4 slip-on, I was thinking about getting a Curtis Sparks but i whant the best pipe with the best allaround power and torque.......

1995 300ex with a Pro Circuit T4 Slip-on and with lots of other mods..... my pipe packing is almost gone........

I have a supertrapp ids2 full exhaust on mine. It greatly improved

I have a Sparks X4 with a UNI filter on a stock motor and I think it is awesome. It really woke things up and the quality is very good.

I HAVE A DG COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM AND IT HELPED ALOT. IT GAVE ALOT MORE LOW END POWER , AND SOME TOP END. IT IS ALOT LOUDER BUT IT IS WORTH IT.

DG FRONT BUMPER
DG EXHAUST
K&N FILTER
JET KIT

I wonder if my stock 300ex would really wake up with full power if i used a full stystem X6 with my 300ex.....

Curtis sparks made an X4 and they thought that was the best until they made the X6 and then they decided that the X6 was the best pipe..........

I might try that......................

dmc alien ;) but the x6 is to big for your stock motor. sparks made that pipe for a 250x/300ex over 350cc's, like bored and stroked. you might actually lose some power with the x6, you'd be better off to go with the x4. but i'd suggest the dmc, its greaat :D I love mine atleast :)

actually the x-6 is for quads in the 400 range the x-5 is more for the 350 range. but unless ur gonna do sum major work to ur motor i would just get the x-4

I have heard from some people that if you whant the best pipe just run the Curtis Sparks header with a HMF slip-on......

I think that's kind of stupid to do something like that...........:huh

dumb idea. lol. The BEST pipe out for the 300ex is the Yoshimura full TI exhaust, but the price tag shows it, but then again..so do the dynos :eek2:

I've had an FMF megamaxII full system, it fell off during a race. I liked it though. Open lid, K&N, and 12 disks, I was running a 132.

Just received my HMF. It is awesome that's all I can say. What FMF did in a full system, HMF did in a slip on and more. More torque and low end. I might have to jet richer.

I want to see the dynos of the following:

FULL SYSTEMS

1. X4 Curtis Sparks
2. Yoshimura TI exhaust
3. Duncan Fatboy IV
4. Pro Circuit T-4
5. (does TC Racing Engines make a pipe for the 300ex?)
6. HMF
7. Big Gun

(I have looked through several magazines but never saw a dyno of these 6, or 7)

Please!!!!, post dyno pics if you find them.........

i have run two systems on my 300ex, a full supertrapp (good power all around) and currently, i have a pro circut slip on w/ a white brothers e-series header, not quite as much low end as the ST, but quite a bit mor top, good smooth power

I've been running an E Series full system since 2000, when I bought my Y2K 300EX new. No complaints, but I have no dyno numbers to back up the "seat of the pants" gain I felt after the install. Did change my powerband, as the bike will hit the rev limiter (even with stock tire size and a +1 countershaft).

I'm thinking about throwing it on a dyno soon to get some baselines before my doing a little more work to the bike.
