Me and my buddies went mudding about 2 weeks ago. The machine was extremely muddy. Anyways I finally just powerwashed my quad. It's all shiny now except the pipe. There is tiny little specks all over it that won't come out. I bought the pipe in December, so it's not very old. What else should I try? It looks like CRAP! Thanks.

Get power drill or a dremal with the steel brush attachment and use that on there, or take a peice of 80 grit sand paper and run that across it.

Thanks. Sorry, It's a Curtis Sparks X-6 ceramic coated. It was really hot that day too. I guess I should have washed it off that day! Well now I know better.

I wouldnt recommend that, as it might be to stiff of a brush and leave marks and swirls on your pipe, but i couldnt be wrong.

Steel Wool won't scratch the heck out of it? It seems like it would, but I will try it. Thanks.

I would try a scotch brite pad, then some mothers polish and a rag.

I have a big guns pipe that is ceramic coated. what you need to do it go get a polishing wheel from home depot for a drill and a can of mothers polish, it will make it look chrome.

I'm having the same prob right now. About 1/8" of mud/clay baked on the headpipe.

Only way i've been able to get it off is just to soak it, let sit for like 15 min, repeat. Then take simple green-your hand-small brush & just work it off.
