PRM cargo rack

has anyone used a PRM cargo rack? they are like a six pack rack but carry a 1 gallon gas jug. If you have used one did you like it or was it to big? it would be nice to carry a 6 pack ice chest and a gal of gas....

I've never seen the PRM one but I just got the Armadillo one and the construction is awesome. It is the same as you describe, six pack rack and another space for a one gallon gas can (which it comes with). I bought mine from a guy on Ebay and he shipped it the day I paid him and it was for less $$ ($89 including gas can) than what even Rocky Mountain Racing and other discount retailers sell them for. heres the link to the PRM, it looks like it dosen't stick so far out the back and it has another little holder. But I might just get the armadillo.

I like the PRM better than mine because it sticks out less but I can't justify the difference in price (the PRM is over 50% more expensive) and it does not look like they even give you the gas tank (prob $10 at an auto parts store). Good luck either way!

I could see how they could get in the way if your not carriyng something, but its good to have extra gas on those long rides:)

yeah it is pretty spendy, but it is removable it just clamps on to your stock grab bar. I'll probably get it.:D

The Armadillo is also removable and mounts onto (does not replace) the stock grab rail....

I have one and like it alot, strudy and has saved my butt a few times to from flipping!!!:D
