Just wondering if anyone is getting a deal on race gas anywhere. I have been pricing it by the barrel. The best I have heard so far was $290 plus a $20 barrel deposit. That is for 104 octane w/ 2% oxygenation (whatever that means) Anyone know of any better deals out there?

Thanks for any help,

Racinaki

that is the same here too daddio, but if you call a distributer, like a VP place, you can get it pretty cheap too. You really won't get anythin cheaper than 4.50/gal...

My dad runs 110 in his Harley and I run it in my 300, and we get it for 4.00 a gallon. I'm pretty sure its a exxon too.

where are you calling to get it by the barrel? and how do you get it? do they deliver it or what? i know i dont have the means to lift a 450 lb. barrel out of the back of my truck but it sounds like buying by the barrel is the way to go

i am buying True Blue Racing Gas and Suncco race gas here in mIsouri at two regelar gas stations. Ocate 107 to 109; I am only paying 3.65 to 3.75 a gallon, no minal amout. You could also try a locaL stock track some do sale race fuel.

I have been checking everywhere that deals with parts and accessories, and from what I have found they all sell it. However, I have also found that the price swing is huge as well. Anywhere from $3.60 up to $9.00 Something about $9 seems a little high to me.

As far as the delivery, so far everyone gets it delivered to their shop and from there it is your responsibility. Prairiewrench just informed me that he can beat the origional price of $290 by $90 bucks! $200 doesn't seem to bad for that much gas. We also mix it about 50/50 so it will last a long time. Thanks to everyone for your help!

I've been getting Sunoco 112 octane here locally for $4 a gallon, I think 114 runs about $4.50 a gallon.
