my buddy had some on his 440ex, they snapped like a twig the first time he barely clipped a tree. Maybe he got a bad set, though...

I had them before, just make sure you get ones that are Chromoly, not steel! They have a lifetime warranty against bending or braking.
I had them on my old (cough)raptor, and they were +2W, +1F, I rode them on the track, and in the trails in the boods, beat the crap out of them, never bent or broke. I give the nod.
(you want the ones that are 488 not 418, the higher ones are the chromoly, I e-mailed and asked they guy, the discription is not very clear, ask him yourself. )

i have the steel ones on my 400ex, not too bad. i'm no pro but they work good for me. if i were to buy a-arms agian they wouldn't be asr. i don't like the heime ball joins, rather have standard ball joints but thats me.
oh, i ran into a tree last year with them, broke my are in to spots, a-arms held up nice.
heres a pic.

No, they bend to easy even with gussets on them. The shock mounts are closer to the frame in relation to the stock measurements. There are better A-ARMS then ASR's for around the same price ex. Burgard - Houser - Fab-Tech.
Also, ASR uses heim joints which are exposed to the riding elements and will not last as long as ball joints.
Good Luck,
Tim
