Hey, anyone got any thoughts on this...

I was out riding the other day for a bout an hour or so , I went splashing through a water crossing and my machine stalled from the steam coming up from the hot engine. The throttle almost reacted like it was running out of gas, sputtering.. I re-started it immediatly and had to rev it a couple of times to get it to run normal again. What can the steam be causing to malfunction on my 300ex?? Any toughts??

Thnx

I would think it would be from the cylinder contracting from putting the water on the hot motor and "closing" in on the piston, but what do I know.
