thats awesome, but why a blaster motor????/

gibson400ex
05-24-2004, 07:37 PM
Rebelrider400ex - yes it has been ported n polished,headwork,new carb,v-force reeds.

TheBluyfz450 - I raced it last weekened at southwick, well i didnt actually race it i was in practice at Southwick and then the motor started screwing up and then it just shut off, oil leaking everywhere, and kick starter would only go down halfway then stop, so the bottom end is being all rebuilt, I should have it done by this weekened because i am going to practice.

Berry - age limits, im only 14.

That's one sick looking Blaster.

Who's 450R and Cannondale is that in your sig then? Or do you ride those and race the Blaster?

Either way that's an awesome Blaster, and I'm definately not a fan of Blasters:D .

That's pretty sweet Rath Racing buit a Blaster like that one time that I raced. The motor was a +4mm stroker crank with a YZ250intake welded on the cylinder. YZ125 carb and some v-force reeds. Holy crap did that thing rip. It was in a 250R frame with all long travel PEP's I miss that thing.

looks good. why did you go through all the trouble to put it in an R frame? you could've modded the stock blaster frame, raced it for a few years then moved up. or are you planning on putting an R motor in there in a couple years?

now just find a real r motor and slap in it, and a fake birth certificate to prove your age your good.

the 250r motor that came wiht it is a PowerValve.

A Pc2000 265 PowerVavle.

In 2 years or 3 i am going to put the 250r motor back in and use it as a practice bike.

I will porbably be on a hybrid crf450 or somthing, that is if they allow the aftermarket frame rule in a couple of years.

that's an awesome blaster, i'm gonna be buying a stock honda cylinder and sleeve to put on mine because i can't race the 330 in youth production or the air cooled class. so hopefully i'll see you all at a national race..

why would you put a blaster engine in there instead of the 250r engine? just for less weight or what?

people just don't read  . That's a good idea to just put the R motor in and use it for practice, when you move up to the B? production class.
