ISearch crap

there is this bar on my internet explorer tool bar that says isearch and it has all these things on it and its makin me angry, none of my spyware programs will get rid of it and i can take it off or change my tool bar becuase it made all the toolbar options grey. it also changes my home page to isearch.com everytime i go on internet explorer. how can i get rid of this

Try this:
Open internet explorer. Click on 'View' at the top, then click 'Toolbars' and see if there is a check mark next to one that says ISearch. If so just uncheck it and it should go away.

As for your homepage, Click on 'Tools' at the top, then click 'Internet Options'. On the tab labeled 'General' you should be able to specify your home page, it's probably set to the ISearch one. Just change it.

www.download.com and type in Ad-Aware 6. It gets rid of all the junk and can make your computer preform better, but you have to run it like a virus thingy and if that dont work try going into control panel.. add remove programs.. and look 2 see if its in there and deleate it..

download ad-aware or go into add/remove programs in the control panel and see if its there and if that dosn't work do a search for it on your c:/ drive and delete all the files that has to do with isearch

Same here, I run ad-aware all the time and sometimes it helps for a little but it always come back... I also have these popups that you cant X out. You have to refresh it, its getting annoying..

i have spy bot, ad-aware, and i change my home page and it comes back, and i cant change the tool bar becuase the isearch thing made all the options grey so i cant change them, and its not in my programs list... i have tried everything :mad: :mad: :mad:

guys ive done all those, and its still there. if i change the homepage it comes back and i downloaded that ad ware and it didnt work

What did you remove? Nothing involving Isearch was listed in mine!

Right click on you tool bar and See if anything you dont normaly have is checked

add/remove program doesnt, right clicking toolbar doesnt, programs dont work
