400ex bigger carb = faster??

hey it might be because hes just biased but my friend said that since the 04 carb is bigger then the 03 the 400ex can now take a z400 stock vs stock, is this true??

i heard that was just a mistype...but...if it is true then ya it should be able to take a Z:macho

They're not faster but nor are they slower. Whoever gets the holeshot wins with these two. It doesn't matter if its 300ft or top end the performance seems identicle, atleast on hard sand anyways. I don't know how they would compare on asphalt.

A friend of mine has a 03 z400 and he just has a full DG exhaust and he beat me by about one length. I have just a 04 400ex with a WB slip-on, k&n, and rejetted. I think the reason was cause I rode a wheelie for a while. I holeshotted him but he stayed on the ground and got more traction.
