View Full Version : Maxxis Razr MX's???

I've been away for quads for about a month or two. I knew maxxis wuz comming out w/ MX's, but if never seen em. I have seen ad's for 18inch rear and 20 front tires but are these the MX's? Does anyone have some pics of them? Are the rear's actually 18 inch's or are they 17inch like tamers are?

I have the 18 inch Razrs. They r 18 and the are awsome.

I havent heard of em out yet. I just got the standard 22" ones. Im not sure ive even heard of an MX version. What would be the advantage with those over the normal ones?

MX are an 18'' tire for an 8'' rim, plus the softer compound for better traction.

i just got a rocky mountain mag and they have the razor mx the back is 18in and the fronts are 20in the prices are preaty chep cause i was shoping around for tires i found the http://www.rockymountainatv.com[/URL] was the cheapest

I think that the Razr 2 are for cross country riding. That is what Balance had on his quad when it was stolen.
Some riders had the new MX tires at Macon 2 weeks ago, but they might of got them from Maxiss. They looked good.

Well for one,,they sponsor the GNC and GNCC series,,there helping us so I'm gonna help them.. 2nd ITP's wear really fast and everybody has them. 3rd I like the looks of them and want to try something different,,I think I'll be ordering some front maxxis MX tires next week...I guess it's a preference thing..

Those are the same thoughts I had Rico. I couldnt find the dang things anywhere though so I had to get the Holeshot MX. I plan on gettting Rarz all around next time. Plus you just gotta love that little hot patch, its so cute :devil
